Dow Chargers (Midland, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Midland Chemics (Midland, MI), 68-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Dow upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI) to play the Bobcats in a Saginaw Valley bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Grand Blanc won 67-56 in their recent league bout against Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI)

Next up, the Chemics play the Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
