Esko Eskomos (Esko, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels (Moose Lake, MN), 89-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Esko upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Eskomos host Aitkin (Aitkin, MN) to clash with the Gobblers in a AA Section 7 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Gobblers go into the bout with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Rebels clash with the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Moose Lake/Willow River will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Thunderhawks go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 76-63 league loss to Hermantown (Hermantown, MN).
