Minnesota High School Basketball - Esko crushes Aitkin
January 24, 2023: Esko, MN 55733 Esko Eskomos (Esko, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Aitkin Gobblers (Aitkin, MN), 87-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Esko upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Eskomos host Barnum (Barnum, MN) to play the Bombers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Barnum won 67-44 in their recent league bout against McGregor (McGregor, MN)
Next up, the Gobblers play the Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Aitkin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 60-55 non-league loss to Staples-Motley (Staples, MN).
