January 20, 2023: Dry Prong, LA 71423

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) and the host Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), saw Neville's basketball squad knock off Grant by a count of 76-57.

With the victory, Neville upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Tigers host Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA) to play the Patriots in a 4A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Franklin Parish won 67-49 in their recent league challenge against Tioga (Tioga, LA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Rapides Mustangs (Lecompte, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 23. Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 14-10 record after their 75-15 league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, LA).
