The Pioneer Pioneers basketball team (Ann Arbor, MI), was overwhelmed 52-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Huron River Rats (Ann Arbor, MI)

The River Rats now possess a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Skyline for a Southeastern - Red battle on Tuesday, January 24. Huron will confront a Eagles team coming off a 54-23 league win over Dexter (Dexter, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.

The Pioneers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Saline (Saline, MI). The Hornets come into the Southeastern - Red battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Saline trounced Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI), 62-49, in a non-league battle.
