The Marist War Eagles (Atlanta, GA) basketball felled the host North Atlanta Warriors (Atlanta, GA), 52-33 in Friday's league test.

The War Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Blessed Trinity thwarted Lassiter (Marietta, GA), 82-46, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to South Cobb for a AAAAAA Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 24. North Atlanta will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-54 league win over Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-9.
