The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Mountain Lake/Comfrey/Mountain Lake Christian to 78 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Russell-Tyler-Ruthton for a A Section 3 contest on Monday, January 23.
The (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Thunderbirds enter the A Section 2 contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop ran past Wabasso (Wabasso, MN), 67-65, in a non-league contest.
