Michigan High School Basketball - New Haven tops Romeo
January 20, 2023: New Haven, MI 48048 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the New Haven Rockets (New Haven, MI) and the visiting Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI), saw New Haven's basketball squad knock off Romeo by a tally of 55-46.
With the victory, New Haven improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Rockets host Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI) to play the Norsemen in a Macomb Area - White challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Norsemen come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Grosse Pointe North lost 63-54 in their recent league challenge against Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Romeo will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 72-31 non-league win over Mott (Warren, MI).
