Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH), 80-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Northridge upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Polar Bears travel to Covington (Covington, OH) to play the Buccs in a Three Rivers bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Buccs go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Covington lost 50-43 in their recent league bout against Bethel (Tipp City, OH)

Next up, the Pirates play the Troy Christian Eagles (Troy, OH) in a Three Rivers bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 63-59 non-league win over Tri-Village (New Madison, OH).
