The Roncalli Cavaliers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats to 45 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Friday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamlin for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Roncalli will battle a Chargers team coming off a 73-48 non-league win over Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 7-2.

The Wildcats (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Groton (Groton, SD). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Groton edged Milbank (Milbank, SD), 64-36, in a league contest.
