January 20, 2023: Sioux Center, IA 51250 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) and the visiting Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA), saw Sioux Center's basketball squad overcome Okoboji by a tally of 60-40.
With the victory, Sioux Center improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Unity Christian (Orange City, IA) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Unity Christian lost 75-53 in their recent league challenge against Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Okoboji will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 88-85 non-league win over Adrian/Ellsworth (Adrian, MN).
