Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA), 72-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Okoboji upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA) to play the Midgets in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Midgets come into the bout with a record of 4-0.

Next up, the Generals play the Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) in a Siouxland bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Sibley-Ocheyedan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Orabs come into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 77-44 league loss to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA).
