Iowa High School Basketball - George-Little Rock overwhelms Sibley-Ocheyedan
January 17, 2023: George, IA 51237 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the George-Little Rock Mustangs (George, IA) and the visiting Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA), saw George-Little Rock's basketball squad wallop Sibley-Ocheyedan by a tally of 60-30.
With the victory, George-Little Rock improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA) to confront the Comets in a Siouxland challenge on Friday, January 20. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 4-8.
Next up, the Generals confront the Rock Valley Rockets (Rock Valley, IA) in a Siouxland battle, on Friday, January 20. Sibley-Ocheyedan will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Rockets come into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 54-48 league loss to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA).
