Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Saranac Chiefs (Saranac, NY) and the visiting Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY), saw Saranac's basketball squad knock off Ticonderoga by a count of 52-38.

With the victory, Saranac upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Chiefs host AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 7-5.

Next up, the Sentinels play the Schuylerville Horses (Schuylerville, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Ticonderoga will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
