New York High School Basketball - Moriah crushes Ticonderoga

Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY), 52-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Moriah upgrades its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY) to play the Cougars in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Northeastern Clinton won 53-47 in their recent league bout against Peru (Peru, NY)

Next up, the Sentinels face the Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 1. Ticonderoga will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record. The Nighthawks enter the game with a 1-13 record after their 52-44 league loss to Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY).
