January 20, 2023: Effingham, IL 62401 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) and the visiting Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL), saw St. Anthony's basketball squad knock off Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg by a count of 62-47.
With the victory, St. Anthony upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. St. Joseph-Ogden won 70-46 in their recent league challenge against Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL)
Next up, the play the Dieterich Movin Maroons (Dieterich, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record.
