Illinois High School Basketball - St. Anthony topped by Altamont
February 14, 2023: Altamont, IL 62411 The Altamont Indians basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting St. Anthony Bulldogs to 55 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 24-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg for a National Trail contest on Friday, February 17. Altamont will battle a team coming off a 56-52 non-league win over Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL). The record now stands at 21-8.
The Bulldogs (18-12) will now prepare for their contest against Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 16-9 record. In their last contest, Casey-Westfield prevailed over Newton (Newton, IL), 36-34, in a league contest.
