Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Father Judge nips Archbishop Wood
January 20, 2023: Philadelphia, PA 19136 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Father Judge Crusaders (Philadelphia, PA) and the visiting Archbishop Wood Vikings (Warminster, PA), saw Father Judge's basketball squad hold off Archbishop Wood by a tally of 47-41.
With the victory, Father Judge improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Holy Ghost Prep (Bensalem, PA) to play the Firebirds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a record of 12-4.
Next up, the Vikings play the Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic Friars/Pandas (Drexel Hill, PA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 27. Archbishop Wood will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Friars/Pandas come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 52-33 league loss to Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA).
