January 20, 2023: Flower Mound, TX 75028 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX) and the host Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX), saw Coppell's basketball squad wallop Marcus by a tally of 73-34.
With the victory, Coppell improves its record to 29-2 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Lewisville (Lewisville, TX) to confront the Farmers in a 6A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Farmers come into the challenge with a record of 13-13. Lewisville lost 65-28 in their recent league challenge against Hebron (Carrollton, TX)
Next up, the Marauders confront the Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX) in a 6A Region I District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Marcus will attempt to improve on its 6-21 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 31-25 league win over Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX).
