Edgemont Moguls (Edgemont, SD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE), 43-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Edgemont upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Moguls travel to Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Hay Springs won 58-42 in their recent non-league bout against Crawford (Crawford, NE)

Next up, the Lions play the Crawford Rams (Crawford, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Morrill will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 58-42 non-league loss to Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE).
