California High School Basketball - Steele Canyon nips El Cajon Valley

Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host El Cajon Valley Braves (El Cajon, CA), 40-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Steele Canyon upgrades its record to 18-4 on the season. The Cougars host Santana (Santee, CA) to play the Sultans in a Grossmont - Valley bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Sultans go into the bout with a record of 6-14.

Next up, the Braves play the Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) in a Grossmont - Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 24. El Cajon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Norsemen go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 52-30 league loss to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA).
