January 20, 2023: Garland, TX 75040 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wylie East Raiders (Wylie, TX) and the host Garland Owls (Garland, TX), saw Wylie East's basketball squad wallop Garland by a tally of 54-31.
With the victory, Wylie East improves its record to 15-11 on the campaign. The Raiders host South Garland (Garland, TX) to confront the Titans in a 6A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 8-17. South Garland lost 57-34 in their recent league challenge against Rowlett (Rowlett, TX)
Next up, the Owls confront the Naaman Forest Rangers (Garland, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Garland will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 3-18 record after their 65-19 league loss to Sachse (Sachse, TX).
