Louisiana High School Basketball - Oberlin trounces Gueydan
January 20, 2023: Oberlin, LA 70655 The Oberlin Tigers (Oberlin, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Gueydan Bears (Gueydan, LA), 52-3 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA). The Warriors go into the 1A District 5 test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Hamilton Christian walloped Basile (Basile, LA), 53-21, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to East Beauregard for a 1A District 5 test on Tuesday, January 24. Gueydan will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 61-38 league win over Elton (Elton, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-10.
