January 20, 2023: Livingston, NJ 07039 The Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Oak Knoll Royals (Summit, NJ), 64-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Minutemen (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Cedar Grove went down by Central (Newark, NJ), 65-26, in a league test.
The Royals now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to New Providence for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Oak Knoll will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 60-8 non-league win over Summit (Summit, NJ). The Pioneers record now stands at 8-4.
