Iowa High School Basketball - West Fork overwhelms Newman Catholic
January 20, 2023: Sheffield, IA 50475 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) and the visiting Newman Catholic Knights (Mason City, IA), saw West Fork's basketball squad wallop Newman Catholic by a tally of 62-24.
With the victory, West Fork improves its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Hampton-Dumont (Hampton, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Hampton-Dumont lost 65-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA)
Next up, the Knights confront the Rockford Warriors (Rockford, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Newman Catholic will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 55-20 league loss to Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA).
