January 20, 2023: Sibley, IA 51249 The Rock Valley Rockets basketball team (Rock Valley, IA), was overwhelmed 71-34 in Friday's league battle with the host Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA)
The Generals now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Okoboji for a Siouxland battle on Tuesday, January 24. Sibley-Ocheyedan will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 69-39 league loss to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-10.
The Rockets (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against George-Little Rock (George, IA). The Mustangs come into the Siouxland battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, George-Little Rock trounced Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA), 48-35, in a league battle.
