Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA), 29-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Varina upgrades its record to 1-10 on the season. The Blue Devils host Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 4-0.
