Virginia High School Basketball - McLean holds off George C. Marshall
January 20, 2023: McLean, VA 22101 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) and the visiting George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA), saw McLean's basketball squad hold off George C. Marshall by a tally of 39-37.
With the victory, McLean improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA) to confront the Generals in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 10-1.
Next up, the Statesmen confront the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. George C. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 64-51 non-league win over Yorktown (Arlington, VA).
