The Maize South Mavericks (Wichita, KS) basketball knocked off the host Blue Valley West Jaguars (Stilwell, KS), 55-43 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mavericks (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Goddard went down by Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS), 71-52, in a non-league test.

The Jaguars now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Washington for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23.
