Maine High School Basketball - Hermon edges Caribou
January 20, 2024: Hermon, ME 04401 The Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) basketball nipped the visiting Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME), 60-53 in Saturday's league test.
The Hawks (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME). The Wildcats go into the B North test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Presque Isle was tipped by Orono (Orono, ME), 53-32, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Bucksport for a B North test on Monday, January 22. Caribou will encounter a Golden Bucks squad coming off a 63-50 league loss to Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Golden Bucks record now stands at 5-7.
