Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), 47-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Caribou upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME) to play the Eagles in a B North bout on Saturday, January 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Ellsworth won 83-38 in their recent league bout against Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME)
