Maine High School Basketball - Mount Desert Island nipped by Old Town
February 21, 2024: Old Town, ME 04468 The Old Town Coyotes tipped the visiting Mount Desert Island Trojans basketball team by a final score of 49-42 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Coyotes face the Orono Riots (Orono, ME) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 23. Old Town will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Riots enter the game with a 17-3 record after their 53-38 non-league win over Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME).
With the defeat, Mount Desert Island moves to 10-11 on the year.
