The Orono Riots basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Mount Desert Island Trojans to 37 in the Riots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Riots now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houlton for a B North contest on Saturday, January 27. Orono will battle a Shiretowners team coming off a 70-40 league loss to Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Shiretowners record now stands at 3-12.

The Trojans (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Vikings enter the B North contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Caribou ran past Houlton (Houlton, ME), 70-40, in a league contest.
