In Saturday's non-league match, the host Charlottesville Black Knights basketball team scored a decisive 78-53 triumph over the New Kent Trojans.

In their next game, the Black Knights meet the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a Jefferson match, on Monday, January 22. Charlottesville will attempt to better on its 14-1 season record. The Flying Flucos enter the match with a 7-6 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
