Washington High School Basketball - Cusick crushes Columbia
January 20, 2024: Hunters, WA 99137 Cusick Panthers (Cusick, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Columbia Lions (Hunters, WA), 73-44 in a league bout.
With the win, Cusick upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Panthers host Oakesdale (Oakesdale, WA) to clash with the Nighthawks in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Oakesdale won 46-42 in their recent league bout against Garfield-Palouse (Palouse, WA)
Next up, the Lions clash with the Inchelium Hornets (Inchelium, WA) in a 1B Northeast bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 74-48 league win over Curlew (Curlew, WA).
