Colorado High School Basketball - Delta tops Moffat County
January 20, 2024: Craig, CO 81625 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Delta Panthers (Delta, CO) and the host Moffat County Bulldogs (Craig, CO), saw Delta's basketball squad knock off Moffat County by a count of 71-63.
With the victory, Delta upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Basalt (Basalt, CO) to play the Longhorns in a 4A Western Slope challenge on Friday, January 26. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Basalt won 50-39 in their recent league challenge against Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO) in a 4A Western Slope challenge, on Friday, January 26. Moffat County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Sailors come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 50-46 league loss to Summit (Frisco, CO).
