New York High School Basketball - Hilton routs Gates Chili
January 20, 2024: Hilton, NY 14468 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Hilton Cadets (Hilton, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gates Chili Spartans (Rochester, NY), by a margin of 81-59.
The Cadets (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY). The Royal Comets go into the Section 5 Monroe 1 outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Rush-Henrietta was trounced by Fairport (Fairport, NY), 76-73, in a league outing.
The Spartans now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Northeast/Northwest College Prep for a non-league outing on Monday, January 22. Gates Chili will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 66-60 league loss to World of Inquiry (Rochester, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
