New York High School Basketball - Fairport trounces Gates Chili
January 5, 2024: Rochester, NY 14624 The Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY) basketball crushed the host Gates Chili Spartans (Rochester, NY), 75-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Red Raiders (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Franklin (Rochester, NY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record.
The Spartans now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Webster Schroeder for a Section 5 Monroe 2 test on Monday, January 8. Gates Chili will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 58-53 non-league loss to Penfield (Penfield, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.
