January 20, 2024: Somerville, NJ 08876 The Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ), 52-46 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Franklin (Somerset, NJ). The Warriors go into the Skyland - Delaware test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Franklin got by Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ), 78-72, in a league test.
The Pioneers now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Montgomery for a non-league test on Monday, January 22. Somerville will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 78-62 non-league win over College Achieve (Asbury Park, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 11-1.
