January 20, 2024: San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA) and the host San Luis Obispo Tigers (San Luis Obispo, CA), saw Independence's basketball squad hold off San Luis Obispo by a tally of 55-52.
With the victory, Independence improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Falcons host Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Eagles in a South Yosemite - Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-9.
