In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Independence Falcons basketball team scored a good 55-43 triumph over the Mission College Prep Royals.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Stockdale Mustangs (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 5. Independence will attempt to better on its 16-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 13-13 record after their 55-45 league loss to Frontier (Bakersfield, CA).
