Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL) and the host Nashville Hornets (Nashville, IL), saw Mascoutah's basketball squad hold off Nashville by a tally of 50-49.

With the victory, Mascoutah improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Edwardsville lost 47-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Granite City (Granite City, IL)
