Illinois High School Basketball - Neuqua Valley crushes Plainfield East
January 20, 2024: Naperville, IL 60564 Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL), 81-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Neuqua Valley upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Rochelle Zell Jewish won 56-40 in their recent league bout against Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Bengals play the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Plainfield East will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 56-44 non-league win over Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL).
