Minnesota High School Basketball - Spectrum edges North Branch
January 20, 2024: North Branch, MN 55056 The Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) basketball nipped the host North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN), 61-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Sting (10-4) will now prepare for their test against North Lakes Academy (Forest Lake, MN). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, North Lakes Academy was tipped by PACT Charter (Ramsey, MN), 67-63, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they host St. Francis for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23. North Branch will encounter a Fighting Saints squad coming off a 71-67 non-league loss to Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 6-8.
