New Mexico High School Basketball - Pojoaque Valley falls to Capital
January 20, 2024: Pojoaque, NM 87506 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Capital Jaguars basketball team scored a nice 46-35 victory over the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes.
With the victory, Capital upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Ravens in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 0-9. Rio Grande lost 60-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Elks/Elkettes play the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Sundevils come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 59-56 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM).
