November 29, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87121 The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes basketball team (Pojoaque, NM), was overwhelmed 65-38 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM)
The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 2. West Mesa will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 52-17 non-league win over Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-0.
The Elks/Elkettes (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Bengals come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
