Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Palmerton holds off Catasauqua
January 20, 2024: Catasauqua, PA 18032 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA) and the host Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA), saw Palmerton's basketball squad hold off Catasauqua by a tally of 35-30.
With the victory, Palmerton improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Blue Bombers host Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA) to confront the RED TORNADOES in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The RED TORNADOES come into the challenge with a record of 7-8.
Next up, the Rough Riders confront the Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA) in a Colonial - North challenge, on Monday, January 22. Catasauqua will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 44-30 non-league loss to Bangor (Bangor, PA).
