Christ Prep Academy Patriots (Lenexa, KS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Veritas Christian Eagles (Lawrence, KS), 45-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Christ Prep Academy upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Patriots host Non Varsity Opponent (, ) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The go into the bout with a record of 100-172. Non Varsity Opponent lost 40-26 in their recent non-league bout against Gem State Academy (Caldwell, ID)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits (Olathe, KS) in a Freelance bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Veritas Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Jackrabbits go into the bout with a 9-0 record after their 35-33 league win over Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy (Overland Park, KS).
