In Saturday's league match, the host North Tahoe Lakers basketball team scored a decisive 45-18 triumph over the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons.

In their next game, the Lakers meet the Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV) in a 2A Northern match, on Tuesday, January 23. North Tahoe will attempt to better on its 13-2 season record.

With the defeat, Coral Academy of Science - Reno moves to 6-11 on the year. The Falcons travel to Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV) to meet the Bighorns in a 2A Northern match on Monday, January 22. The Bighorns enter the match with a record of 3-9. Oasis Academy lost 45-9 in their recent league match against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV)
