New Jersey High School Basketball - East Brunswick holds off Piscataway
January 20, 2024: East Brunswick, NJ 08816 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) and the visiting Piscataway Chiefs (Piscataway, NJ), saw East Brunswick's basketball squad hold off Piscataway by a tally of 50-48.
With the victory, East Brunswick improves its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Bears travel to West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-11.
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Piscataway will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 60-57 non-league win over South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ).
